Two interesting posts on internet governance in Pakistan:

I have always wondered what exactly PKNIC (the registrar for .pk domains) works. It’s still not very clear to me, but these posts shed some light on the matter.

    No company has applied for a ccTLD Re-delegation - its a first and foremost process. You can talk all you want here - but some basic facts need to be taken into account, what will the news fees structure be? offices? contacts? support? parking and other domain related issues? DNS servers? reseller status? payments? etc.

    Any company that correctly positions itself on this front and then applies for ccTLD redelgation - and done right - would probably end up getting control of the ccTLD .pk.
